This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use safar.wtf (“SAFAR”, “we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using SAFAR.
1. Who we are
SAFAR is an atmospheric listening experience at safar.wtf. Contact: hello@safar.wtf.
2. What we collect
We do not require accounts, logins, or payment details.
Feedback you send. If you use Feedback, we store the message you submit and basic technical metadata (for example timestamp and user agent) so we can review suggestions and improve the product.
Server / hosting logs. Our host may collect standard request logs such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of access for security and reliability.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics (gtag.js, measurement ID G-34EX1GMBCE) to understand traffic and usage in aggregate (for example visits, devices, referrers, and approximate geography). Google may process this data under its own terms and privacy policy.
3. YouTube and music playback
SAFAR does not host or store copyrighted song files. Music plays through the official YouTube IFrame Player / embed. When you load or play a track:
- YouTube / Google may collect device, cookie, IP, and playback data.
- YouTube may show ads or apply content restrictions based on region, account status, or rights settings.
- Playback availability is controlled by YouTube and the rights holders, not by SAFAR.

4. Cookies and similar tech
Google Analytics and YouTube embeds may set cookies or local storage on your device. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect analytics accuracy or some embed behavior.
5. How we use information
We use information only to:
- Operate and protect the SAFAR website
- Measure traffic and improve the experience
- Review feedback and suggestions you send
- Respond if you contact us directly
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Sharing
We share data only with providers needed to run SAFAR (for example hosting, MongoDB for feedback storage, and Google for Analytics / YouTube). Those providers process data under their own policies.
7. Retention
Feedback messages are kept while useful for product decisions, then deleted or anonymized. Analytics retention follows Google Analytics settings. Hosting logs follow the host’s retention practices.
8. Children
SAFAR is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Do not submit personal information if you are below that age.
9. Your choices
You can stop using the site at any time, clear cookies, use browser tracking protections, or email us to ask about feedback you submitted.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
